War Dogs: The Unsung Heroes
I’ve had several people ask me for a URL regarding this effort, so here goes. This is a description of the effort of my Junior Girl Scout troop. They are working to raise awareness for the dogs in the War in Afghanistan. The dogs are sent over with very limited supplies. The girls are raising awareness and are encouraging nearby Cypress residents and Girl Scout troops to consider sending a box of supplies to the dogs.
Boxes may be purchased directly from the US Military K-9 Fund. The organization gathers the items, packs and ships the items.
